Store Audit AI — Privacy Policy

Store Audit AI ("the App") is provided by Conexao Apps. This policy explains what data the App accesses and stores when a merchant installs it on a Shopify store.

Data we access

• Store domain and an access token issued by Shopify, used to call the Shopify Admin API on your behalf.
• Product data (titles, descriptions, images, SEO fields, inventory), collections, pages and legal policies, to audit your store.
• Your published theme's code files (read-only), to find leftover code from apps. The App never edits or deletes theme files.
• Your storefront home page as any visitor sees it, to list the script tags apps add to it. Only the script addresses are kept.
• Your app subscription (plan name and status) from Shopify, to apply your plan's monthly AI fix limit.

Data we store

• Audit results (scores and the list of issues found, including script tag addresses and theme file names).
• Your current plan, a monthly count of AI fixes, and app preferences (for example whether you dismissed a card or were asked for a review).
• AI fix suggestions you request (product text, SEO fields, image alt text) and whether you applied them.
• Support messages you send from the in-app Support page (with your shop name and email), stored only to provide support and deleted on shop/redact.

The App does not access, collect or store any personal data about your customers.

Free audit page (store-audit-ai.vercel.app/free-audit)

When a visitor enters a store address on the public free audit page, the address is sent to the Google PageSpeed Insights API, which loads that page and returns a speed score. We store the address and Google's result for up to 7 days (results are reused for 24 hours), and a salted SHA-256 hash of the visitor's IP address for 24 hours to limit each visitor to 5 tests per hour. We never store the IP address itself and we don't collect any data from the store beyond Google's result. Google's handling of the request is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

AI processing

When you click "Fix with AI", the relevant product text or image is processed by an AI model to write a suggestion. Nothing is changed in your store until you review and apply it.

Retention and deletion

Within 48 hours of uninstall Shopify sends a shop/redact request and we permanently delete all data stored for your store.
